Burning torches and hidden daggers
were in their heads
then a day came when
they fucked everything else

The land didn't grow green
for sixteen years
the sky was grey
for almost thirty eight

There were no jobs
no savings, no loans
the rich chocke'em and
left for other lands

They got huge villas in the east
their servants were yellow and fierce

It all began like a rumour
It ended soon, the whites were done

My neighbours scaped too
but every place they reached
was fucked just the same

They died in the dusty roads
where the flies of cholera
grew big of their blood
